Unter dem Motto “ ‚Nein‘ zu Gewalt, ‚Ja‘ zu einem Leben miteinander“ hat am vergangenen Freitag eine Kundgebung in unserem israelischen Partnerkreis Emek Hefer, genau wie an vielen Orten, in den letzten Tagen, in Israel, stattgefunden. Ca. 1.000 Menschen, aus allen Bevölkerungsgruppen, haben sich versammelt, um  zu demonstrieren, dass man sich gegen extremistische Handlungen wendet und friedlich miteinander leben möchte.

Fridy rallies

The head of the Emek Hefer Council, Dr. Galit Shaul, Mr. Tamim Yassin, the mayor of Zemer council and Shuaa Mansour Masrawa mayor of the city  Taibe call together: No to violence, yes to living together!‘

The leadership of the Emek Hefer Regional Council, workers and residents held rallies in the Emek Hefer area on Friday, calling for an end to the violence between neighbors and the maintenance of coexistence.

Dr. Shaul said: “We call for an end to the violence! Coexistence between extremist Arabs to set the tone, lock all of us and the Jews in our country is a supreme value, and we must guard it with all vigilance. The extremists must not be allowed to set the tone and we must all work together now to calm the spirits and reconcile, for the common life of all of us here with dignity and peace.“
